Hey all, I’ve been hearing a lot about the health benefits of standing desks and was thinking of trying a 9am standing desk routine. But, I’m unsure if it’s really for me. I’ve always been a desk sitter and can’t imagine working standing for hours. Do you think it would work for someone who’s used to sitting all day?

I was a bit skeptical, too, but I’ve been on the 9am standing desk routine for over a year now. It took a little time to adjust, but now I feel better overall. If you’re worried about standing all day, maybe start with just an hour of standing in the morning and see how it feels. Your body will gradually get used to it. The key is to listen to your body and not push it too much at first.
