What types of eyebrow tattooing are there?
Permanent makeup is an opportunity to look perfect at any moment and feel confident in any situation. Permanent makeup helps to correct the shape of the eyebrows, add density to them, mask defects. There are different techniques of eyebrow tattooing, in the salon the master selects the appropriate one depending on the wishes of the client, his initial data.

Let's consider the features, advantages and disadvantages of each of them.
Hair technique.
With this type of permanent makeup, individual strokes imitating hairs are drawn on the skin. The technique is divided into European, in which all strokes have the same length, angle of inclination, distance between them, and eastern – the hairs are located in different directions, differ in length and thickness.
The advantage of hair tattooing is the ability to hide eyebrow defects (missing hairs, scars), adjust the shape, add density.
Disadvantages – a slightly longer healing period compared to other types of permanent makeup, high cost due to the complexity of the technique, the need for careful study of each hair.
Shadow shading.
Eyebrow tattooing in the technique of shadow shading involves the introduction of pigment under the skin to a shallow depth. The superficial introduction provides an opportunity to get visually thicker eyebrows with a clear contour, but without sharp lines. Shadow shading is performed with a soft pigment, as close as possible to the natural color of the eyebrows, so this type of permanent tattoo looks very natural. The technique is divided into shooting and soft shading.
Pros: almost painless process of introducing pigment, as the depth of punctures is small, a quick recovery period, often even without the formation of crusts.
The disadvantage of shadow shading is that it is not suitable for clients with sparse eyebrows, bald spots, and scars on their eyebrows. Shadow shading will not be noticeable on too dark, thick eyebrows.
Powder spraying.
This type of eyebrow tattooing is almost identical to shadow shading, but there are slight differences. Lighter shades of pigments and the minimum depth of introduction ("stretching" of the dye) provide the most natural look of the eyebrows, the impression of light powderiness is created. When powder spraying, several pigments of different shades are used, so there is a smooth transition of color from the head to the tip of the eyebrow.
Positive: the most natural result, slight soreness during the procedure, a quick healing period.
Cons: for an ideal look of eyebrows with tattooing in the technique of shadow shading, your eyebrows should be thick enough, without gaps, scars, have a pronounced shape. Only in this case will the effect of a beautiful volume and soft contours be achieved.
Microblading.
Microblading is performed not by a tattoo machine, but by a special tool - a manipulator, which is a pen with a thin blade of an oblong shape, which, as it were, scratches, makes microscopic incisions in the upper layer of the skin on the eyebrows. Through these incisions, the pigment penetrates into the epidermis.
Salons offering the microblading service, as its advantages, call the minimal painfulness of the process, since the pigment is introduced to a lower depth than with traditional types of eyebrow tattooing, the absence of the effect of "fading" with unnatural shades, accurate drawing of hairs, thanks to manual technique.
However, all these advantages can turn into disadvantages. Controlling the required depth of insertion, the same during the entire procedure, is not an easy task, even for an experienced master with a well–placed hand. Due to the fact that the incisions are often obtained of different depths, the color may lie unevenly. Scratches that are too deep can lead to the appearance of scars on the skin. In addition, over time, the "hairs" resulting from microblading are blurred, eyebrows lose their shape and contour clarity.
Henna tattooing.
The technique is also called "biotatuage" and is the coloring of the skin and eyebrow hairs with a natural pigment. A coloring compound is applied to the eyebrows, aged for about 30 minutes, then washed off with a cotton pad moistened with natural oil. The result of biotatuage with henna is a bit like permanent makeup in the technique of shading. However, this is still not tattooing, but coloring, and the effect will be short-lived, the dye stays on the eyebrows from 10-14 days to a month.
